About Client

We developed backend which has the following core functionalities:

Later, we helped them to move to a serverless system by building the micro servers like Notification API and Server Less Core backend for the classroom session for high scalability during the classroom sessions

After performing a thorough analysis of initial requirements and designs, we came up with the host of technologies suitable for LivDemy and the execution plan to roll out the initial version to the public.\\n Special attention was made to the frameworks that are less vulnerable to attacks and ease managing the multiple user roles.\n > Our priority was to be as quick as possible to the market without compromising the quality, performance, scalability, and extendability.

Strategy

* The initial version had support for the student, teacher, class moderator, and administrator logins. It supported course creation with flexible calendaring, course publishing, and registration approval flows. \n * Messaging In addition, the solution also provided a controlled messaging interface between course teachers and students regarding the various course whereabouts. \n * The initial version is built using sails.js, an enterprise-grade Node.js application framework, leveraging the power of Twilio, a communication platform, to facilitate video calls between various course stakeholders.

Building a Seamless Web App for Learning Music

The app has been great as far as the behavior/reward function goes for our 4-year-old. Our oldest thrives on rewards so we like that we can access a reward.

iRewardChart was already a Best Parenting App for three consecutive years starting with 2010. Primary users of the app are obviously parents.\\n It used Dropbox Data API to synchronize the data across multiple devices.\\n One of the very serious sharing limitations was that the user needed to sign in using the same account as Dropbox to enable sharing. Also, the API was reaching the end of the phase.\\n Given the inevitable rework needed to rewrite the backend, Got Clues envisaged a larger reach of the app to baby care centers tutors/mentors, etc. by enabling a flexible sharing mechanism.\\n The app is also required to support fully offline mode.

Challenge

In the hunt for a suitable fully-offline supporting framework along with flexible data synchronization capabilities, we evaluated multiple frameworks: Facebook's Parse, Google's Firebase, Couchbase and Azure Mobile Services, etc. And narrowed down to Azure Mobile Services.\\n An in-built authentication mechanism coupled with Facebook and Google OAuth login sare decided to be enabled to bring the majority of the users on board with the proposed flexible sharing policy.\\n There is one-time migration to be addressed, to fit into the big picture of the overhaul as the third important component.

* The Aim of the app is to bring a measurable system to reward a child by gauging the tasks he/she performs over a period of a week. \n * Each child is set up for the current week with a set of tasks to gauge against, and a set of rewards he will be awarded with. \n * The task can be Help mom carrying 3 or Np talking back carrying 5 etc. \n * The reward can be as simple as buying an ice cream, carrying 5 points on its head, to buying an Xbox carrying a thousand. \n * Parents can choose to assign negative points to a task in case of child's indulgence.

Salient Features

A child can be set up with a default set of weekly tasks and concerning rewards. 
Children can be grouped into an arbitrary number of buckets, for visual demarcation. 
A combined view of all the the user-owned children and shared children makes it easy to see all of them together.

Child Management

Tasks have name, type, and a default weight. Default weight can be customized to take any value from 1-star ton-star. The task can take any symbol like a trophy or a light bulb, etc. 
Task can be chosen from any of the given tasks accumulated across all the shared children's tasks. 
If a task is coming from a shared child's bucket, it will be cloned into the existing child's

Task Management

Each child has a set of current tasks for a week. Tasks can be reordered in any way a user wants. 
Each task carries an award/star given by the parent against it for that week. This can go negative. 
Earlier weeks can be navigated to and be the respective weeks' tasks can be awarded

 Chart Management

Given a sufficient number of awards over the week or across all the previous weeks, the child can be rewarded any number of proposed rewards, which deduct the respective reward weights from the accumulated stars.\n ### Rewards are fully customizable: \n Weight, the name can be anything that a parent wants. After payout, the balance amount of stars is shown, as well as the last 5 weeks' awards info and the latest 5rewards info.

Azure Mobile Services SDK gives an in-built mechanism to queue the changes to all the data models.\\n Leveraging that, we've tailored our data models and their manipulations to comply with any number of own children can be shared and any number of shared children can be managed principle. We've used a polling mechanism to periodically trigger synchronization which pushes first followed by a pull.\\n Tailor-made conflict resolution mechanism is injected into Azure SDK to resolve multiple updates.

The vision of Free Bird is to bring in light into the lives of individuals trapped in the debt hell due to unorderly management of personal debts and institutional loans.\\n It aims to provide the necessary tools to educate and empower the mentioned individuals to assess and plan their debt payoffs and become financially “free bird”.\\n There are some products in this arena but they lack the required amount of simplicity, flexibility, customizability, and insight to drive a common man towards becoming debt-free. This is the challenge Free Bird sets out to address.

* A thorough analysis of the existing market players was made early on to understand their strengths and drawbacks and chalked out the way to address the existing shortcomings, one by one. \n * Tracking of application usage patterns was essential to drive the product evolution hence the integration of analytics was made to start with. \n * After thorough brainstorming sessions with the respective stakeholders multiple times, we froze the final requirements to deliver.

* The initial version was rolled out with support for adding friendly loans with a customizable interest rate, interest type, notes, and photographic attachments. \n * A loan had the support to add/edit/remove a series of repayments flexible in time. \n * Loans were grouped by friends and detailed spending on a friend was made readily available at the fingertips making it one of the very few products available in the market that effectively established this clean solution to the date. \n * Various ways were offered to the user to filter his/her loans, based on with/without interest, settled/non-settled, etc. \n > “Sharing is caring” this becomes especially important when it comes to financial matters.

A Scalable and Secure Finance Application for Efficient Money Management

Times Internet, is India's largest digital products company which owns, operates and invests in various Internet-led products, services and technology. Among the services, MensXP is an Indian lifestyle website for men.

We architected and developed scalable backend solution for WhatsApp status-like feature called "Highlights". Highlights are built to self-expire after one day of posting and can supports image, video formats.

We managed the end-to-end hosting requirements of Highlights for supporting images with different resolutions optimised for different the mobile device screen sizes. Video Highlights from creators are also transcoded into different resolutions to support various Android & iOS mobile screen sizes

MensXP had a plan to create a very engaging experience for its app users. Earlier, users are limited to consume standard web articles from the content team. As per the plan, MensXP setout to create a WhatsApp status-like widget that gets live and engaging content called "Highlights" that self-expire.

The Chief-Minister of the government of Andhra Pradesh wanted to track the performance of all the higher education colleges based on a uniform, quantifiable set of metrics year after year.\\n The performance of colleges as per the carefully chosen key metrics gives a clear picture of the current state of colleges across the state and helps to draw specialized attention towards the institutions in their respective laggard areas.

After thorough brainstorming sessions with the respective stakeholders multiple times, we froze the final requirements to deliver. \\n Each of the colleges has individual metrics logged by their respective points of contact, namely nodal officers, against a particular academic year.\\n Instead of taking-in the metrics itself from the colleges, we chose to take in all the necessary information, called “detail”, from the nodal officers and formulate an infinitely customizable key performance indexes, KPIs, based on one or more of the details.\\n This decoupling opened up limitless possibilities into the way we can formulate KPIs across years.

There is a categorization of KPIs and details, called “bucket's", based on their relevance. For example, details “Total number of male students” and “Total number of female students” are put into the bucket “Students & Faculty” and a KPI “Gender ratio” has been added into it.

Admin can configure any number of academic years to perform KPI evaluation against and needs to choose one active academic year. He feeds into the system the list of all the buckets, their respective details, and KPIs, as well as the list of colleges/universities. Each college has one nodal officer only who can fill in all the details of the respective buckets. An email invitation is sent to the nodal officer with login details to manage his institution metrics.

Admin

The nodal officer can login to the system and fill in his college-specific values for all the listed details under the current/active academic year and the previous academic year. He can change those values any time before the active academic year gets changed.

The public can see the full list of buckets and the associated KPIs on the left pane. They can choose to see the values of all the registered colleges’ KPIs. In addition, an optional bar graph is provided to compare the universities’ performance against that KPI.

Post the completion of a detailed BA document, we've developed high-fidelity designs for Android & iOS mobile apps in consultation with the business heads of iSchoolConnect.\n> We have come up with a new logo for the brand matching the aspirations of the management without loosing the appeal of the formal logo, as well as a new design system to appeal to the university students.\n ### Noteworthy mentions:\n* Designing a beautiful state-of-the-art journey of the student from joining iSchoolConnect till joining the university and beyond.\n* Ireating innovative and welcoming walkthroughs on the apps to the users.\n* Coming up with intuitive UI and UX for the real estate-hungry modules like Document Analyser.\n* Designing ample real estate for the new happenings on the on-ground iSC events.\n* Clean interface for browsing through the existing universities and favorites

True to the spirit of the mobile app designs, we leveraged the flexible and extendable UI architecture components for the development. The developement was split into 4 phases based on the dependency clearance order and appropriate milestone dates were marked.

Apart from the backend self-developed by the iSchoolConnect team, for some of the services, like Live Events, Document Analyser, Test Preparation and Analytics, we have integrated the mobile app with the respective third-party services to ensure seamless workings on the app.

To augment the website that iRewardChart already has, the team envisioned to develop iOS and Android mobile apps to capture the increasing mobile-driven target audience (students). The task was to develop fully featured Android and iOS mobile apps.

The initial observations led us to a diverse technologies used by iSchoolConnect for various internal services. This necessiated the detailed BA to understand the technology stacks before commencing the design and development work

We utilized Angular to develop a robust content management system, enabling us to efficiently manage stakeholders, projects, leads, opportunities, and finance. This involved creating, editing, and organizing content, as well as managing stakeholder details, project information, and financial data. Additionally, we employed React to craft a user-friendly portal for candidates. This portal facilitated easy access to assessments, providing candidates with clear instructions, and interactive elements for seamless participation.

Using Node.js to handle the logic for managing assessments, users, proctoring services, stakeholders, projects, leads, opportunities, and finance. We designed and implemented APIs to seamlessly communicate with the frontend components, facilitating requests for data related to various aspects of the system. Our architecture ensured a robust and scalable system that effectively managed all facets of the assessment management platform.

For the database management aspect, our approach involved designing database schemas that efficiently organize and retrieve data for the entities. Additionally, we implemented database queries and optimizations to enhance performance and scalability, ensuring smooth operations even with large datasets.

We designed and developed a highly customizable notification system that empowers users to tailor their notification preferences based on specific functionalities. Whether users require notifications for lead generation, billing, or other events, they can choose to receive alerts through in-app notifications, emails, or SMS messages. It features a regional job search platform that offers job listings and updates in local languages, facilitating connections between job seekers and opportunities in specific regions of India. Lokal is a one stop platform for local information, jobs and classifieds for more than 500M native language speaking Indians. Indeed, it is the perfect place for anything local!

We developed a highly scalable frontend for the platform, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Our frontend development focuses on implementing the design elements and functionalities required for the regional job search platform. It provides a seamless experience for users, enabling them to access job listings and updates in local languages with ease.
